Combining the best of Dublin and Kilkenny, ALCHEMY is an exciting, fresh six-piece who will captivate you with their unique fusion of contemporary and classic sounds … it’s feminine, poetic and strong.
Equally at home as soloists or creating their magic as a group, ALCHEMY draw their inspiration from a diverse catalogue of material, from David Bowie to Fleetwood Mac, and Peter Gabriel to Regina Spektor via Leonard Cohen!
Following their hugely popular Sounds of Summer at The Set Theatre, Christmas by Candlelight at St. Canice’s Cathedral and their guest appearance at the 2019 Dublin Bowie Festival, ALCHEMY make their Sugar Club début on Monday, 9th December.
WINTER SONG - a relaxed evening of rock and pop classics, all sung in the unique Alchemy style, plus some of your seasonal favourites. ALCHEMY’s début album will have its launch on the night and will be available for purchase at The Sugar Club.
Rising star - singer and guitarist Aidan Byrne - will appear as a special guest.

The brainchild of adopted Kilkenny native, Derek Devoy, Taxi Watch Ireland has made monumental strides - locally, nationally and even internationally - towards opening a more positive dialogue around mental health and proactively taking steps to ensure that those in most need of help receive support.

Against the stunning backdrop of a candlelit St. Canice’s Cathedral, ALCHEMY present Christmas favourites – old and new – plus their unique interpretations of classic and contemporary sounds, from traditional Irish to rock and pop.
Special guest singers are Michael Hayes and Fionn Gardner, and there will be a special appearance by Derek Devoy of Taxi Watch Ireland.
ALCHEMY is an Official Sponsor and Partner of the Taxi Watch initiative, and partners with them to help promote Suicide Awareness and Prevention. Proceeds from this performance will support Taxi Watch in their endeavours.
